The Verbier Festival is an annual international music festival that takes place for two weeks in late July and early August in the mountain resort of Verbier, Switzerland. The Verbier Festival is also nurturing young musicians with its Academy and three orchestras: the Verbier Festival Orchestra, the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, and the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra (formerly known as the Verbier Festival Music Camp Orchestra). Activities of the Fest'Off, including jazz concerts and special walks in the environs of Verbier, are also available to the public for free during the 17 days of the festival.
Commemorating its 30th anniversary in 2023 and confirming its status as a world classical music festival, the Verbier Festival has finally announced its main stage program for 2022. The festival will take place from 15 to 31 July 2022. The event will take place at the 1,700-seat Salle des Combins, the more intimate glise de Verbier, and the Hameau Cultural Center. The festival will open with the Verbier Festival Orchestra and hold two further concerts with soloist Mikhail Pletnev, featuring Piano Concerto No. 3 Beethoven, and Denis Matsuev in Piano Concerto No. 2, marking the composer's 90th birthday.

Three operas will be performed in concert, with Takács-Nagy conducting the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra for Don Giovanni of Mozart and Gianandrea Noseda also performing a concert performance of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera. Singers from the Verbier Festival Academy Atelier Lyrique gave a concert performance of Hänsel und Gretel Humperdinck with the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra, hosted by Stanislav Kochanovsky.
